By using Bored Games, you agree to these Terms of Use and our End-User License Agreement (EULA). If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the app immediately. These terms may be updated from time to time — continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of any changes.
Bored Games has a zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content and abusive behaviour. This includes but is not limited to: hate speech, harassment, threats, sexually explicit material, discriminatory language, bullying, and any content that violates applicable laws. Users who post or share objectionable content will have that content removed and may be permanently banned from the platform once a report has been reviewed.
You agree to use Bored Games in good faith. This includes completing games you have committed to, treating other players with respect, and not manipulating the karma or matchmaking systems. Abuse, harassment, or cheating may result in immediate suspension or permanent removal from the platform.
Bored Games provides mechanisms to report objectionable content and abusive users, and to block users you do not wish to interact with. Reports are reviewed by the development team within 24 hours. Blocking a user immediately removes their content from your experience and notifies the development team for review.
All user-generated content — including group names, descriptions, game guides, chat messages, and linked media — is subject to automated and manual moderation. Content that is flagged as objectionable by users or detected by our filtering systems will be removed promptly. Users who repeatedly violate these standards will be permanently ejected from the platform and all connected Discord servers will be notified.
Bored Games only collects user IDs necessary to operate the service — including your Discord ID and username, Apple ID, and any other platforms you choose to link. Your data will never be shared with third parties or used for advertising. You may request deletion of all your game data at any time through Privacy settings. Board game names, images, and data are the intellectual property of their respective owners. Game data is sourced from BoardGameGeek under their API terms of use. Bored Games is an independent application and is not affiliated with or endorsed by any board game publisher.
You must be at least 16 years of age to use Bored Games. By accepting these terms, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
Bored Games integrates with Discord for matchmaking, voice chat, and community features. By connecting your Discord account, you authorise the app to access your Discord profile and server memberships. The Bored Games Discord bot operates within servers where it has been invited by server administrators.
The karma system reflects community feedback on sportsmanship. Abuse of the karma system (targeted downvoting, vote manipulation) may result in account restrictions or permanent removal.
Bored Games is provided as-is. We make no guarantees regarding uptime, data integrity, or the availability of any feature. We are not liable for any losses, disputes, or damages arising from use of the platform.
